EMCS Coyote Hunt Tournament

Official Rules

*All Michigan Hunt, Hunt anywhere in Mi that is legal according to MI Department of Natural Resources

*ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE ALL REQUIRED MI HUNTING LICENSE

*Responsibility of the participant to follow all rules and regulations for the State of MI

*EMCS or any other sponsors of this event are not held responsible for participants actions during the tournament.

*Coyote ONLY hunt. HUNTING ONLY Thermal and night vision are allowed.

*No trapping, snaring, hound, or shooting from moving vehicles. All coyotes will be checked for snare or trap marks by a Licensed Veterinary Technician

*1 Team member must show up at the Registration on Friday between 3:30-5:30. You will sign off on rules and pay for your partner(s) at check in. Bring your partner’s name, email address and phone number with you.

*$80 per team (2-3 team members) You can also hunt solo. (can add 2 kids under 16 for no additional charge)

*Must hunt together as a team (can not be in different locations or have non-team members helping)

*A password will be given at 5:30 start time that you must include in your video. *1 team member must have a cell phone to be able to take photos/video in the field.

*All coyotes harvested MUST be videoed, showing limp-ness with no rigor, time, number of kill and code, with a cell phone directly after the kill with mouth block and zip tie already in place. Keep your videos. Winner videos will be reviewed.

*All coyotes must be mouth blocked (Jenga blocks) and zip tied according to the procedure or they will not count at weigh in. No exceptions! Hunters will make their own blocks 1”x 3” or Jenga blocks.

*Team number and Code must face roof of mouth and tongue.

*No roadkill, freezer kept (prior to tournament night) or pen raised animals allowed. *Disposal of carcasses after weigh in is sole responsibility of the participants.

*Weigh-In begins at 4Pm on Saturday at the East Martin Christian School. BRING COYOTES WITH YOU!

*1 team member must be present at weigh-in and be there by 5pm or the team will be DISQUALIFIED.

*Each team member that shows up will receive 1 ticket and be entered into a door prize.

*THERE WILL BE NO POOLING OF COYOTES BETWEEN TEAMS! EMCS Wild Game has the right to Disqualify a team if they see fit.

*Highest total weight (bring all kills to weigh in)

*50% payout and 50% donated to East Martin Christian School

*1st place – 50% of payout

*2nd place – 30%

*3rd place – 15%

* Heaviest Coyote – 5%
